Australian electro favourites Stafford Brothers bring an uncompromising surge of house to their style for Smash The House, following on from their huge previous successes including collaborations with urban heavyweights such as Lil Wayne, Christina Milian and Rick Ross, as well as keeping one foot firmly in the dance world with their own releases such as 2018’s ‘KNOCK’ that received support from Steve Aoki, Timmy Trumpet and Smash The House label heads Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike themselves. On working on the collaboration, Stafford Brothers said “We’re really excited for our first release of 2020 to be out on Smash the House. Working with Dark Heart and Kitty we are pumped for this to be heard in festivals and clubs around the world” Collaborating on the bombastic ‘Boom’ that oozes excellence, the brothers link up with LA’s master of flair Dark Heart for a whirlwind of styles that are presented with a unique finesse, the latter also having lent his hand to remix work for DJ Snake and US rising rapper BlacKbear. Utilising a lower-end trap beat that rib-rattles the listener with its depth, the mononymous Kitty’s subtle and sensual vocal flitters at the forefront of an ascending synth line that spirals out of the stratosphere. A wobbly, dirty and downright krunked-up release set to dominate crowds across a landscape of both trap, bass, dub, as well as house and big-room fans; expect the party to ‘Boom’ when released on Smash The House 7th February, 2020!
