In December 2012, Tom Colontonio self-released his massive ReWORK of the 2001 Cosmic Gate Trance classic "Exploration of Space" as a free download. This is a rework rather than a remix so it includes most of the elements from the original such as the pounding baseline, but it has been 'updated' to give it a more contemporary feel. This track has actually been kicking around for a while, since at least 2010, although it was never officially released, and has received support from Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Sean Tyas and others.
